Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan met with Russian consul general to Armenia’s second largest city Vasily Korchmar, 102 Russian military base commander Oleg Smiryonov and commander of Russian border troops in RA Yuri Aysin.
Welcoming the guests, Samvel Balasanyan stressed the need to deepen ties with Russian cities and voiced readiness to promote Russian investments in the city.
The guests congratulated mayor on eelction, wishing him productive activity. The parties further discussed issues of bilateral interest, such as Russian offer to construct a splendid sports complex in Gyumri.
