Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations held a senior staff meeting, chaired by Minister Armen Yeritsyan.
Armenian Rescue Service director, Major General Sergey Azaryan briefed the minister of the intention to hold a large-scale earthquake scenario in Yerevan in late November.
Dwelling on the activates International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts carried out during their visit to Armenia, Major General Azaryan noted that IAEA highly assessed the progress the ministry yielded in the past two years.
As for the activities of the working group addressing the disabled people’s problems, he said the results will soon be announced.
