TV DEBATE BETWEEN TWO PRESIDENTIAL CONTENDERS OF ARMENIA TO BE HELD BY END OF ELECTORAL RACE

The TV debate between the two candidates for the president of Armenia in the second round of the elections will be held March 3 at 9:00 p.m. The debate between incumbent president Robert Kocharian and leader of the People party Stepan Demirchian, as reported by “Arka” agency, will be broadcast via the Public Television Company of Armenia, as well as five private channels. Let us note that the electoral agitation of the presidential contenders began February 26 and will finish March 3. The second round of the presidential elections in Armenia will be held March 5, 2003.
