Rafayel Simonyan commented on his victory against Georgia’s Data Kvirkvelia at 2012 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.
“It was a tough challenge to beat Kvirkvelia. He was a strong rival. After suffering a defeat in the first round I pulled myself together and secured a victory,” he said, adding that his good shape and support of fans helped him to score the win.
Simonyan will face off against a Montenegro representative next.
The Armenian boxer further voiced readiness to train hard to secure participation in 2016 Olympic Games.
