The transportation of a part of military equipment from the Russian bases from Georgia to Armenia is regulated by the Agreement on Military Cooperation and Dislocation of Russian Military Bases in Armenia as well as by commitments on quotas provided by the Agreement on Armament in Europe, Press Secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Colonel Seyran Shahsuvarian stated, IA Regnum reports. In his words, the parties did not sign any new document or agreement. He also informed that the matter does not concern the re-deployment of Russian officers from Georgia to Armenia yet. To remind, the 102-nd Russian military base is dislocated in the Armenian town of Gyumri. As it was reported earlier, June 1 the first trainload of 15 carriages with the military equipment and ammunition was started form Batumi to Armenia. Its destination is the Russian base in Gyumri.
