Paper: ANC may struggle for “gangster state” fall alone

Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s undetermined stance and his possible refusal to run for the president has activated discussions within the Armenian National Congress (ANC) bloc on nomination of own candidate, 168 Zham daily reported.

“Up until now ANC hoped to back Prosperous Armenia leader as a unified opposition candidate. However, Tsarukyan’s possible refusal to join the presidential race is likely to force the bloc to struggle for the “fall of the gangster state” alone, the paper says.
