A public opinion poll is planned to be conducted at the weekend to reveal the correlation of forces following Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarkuyan’s recent statement, “Sociometer” sociological center head said.
Aharon Adibekyan expressed regret over Prosperous Armenia’s leaving the struggle, citing a geopolitical issue or the party’s reluctance to lose the elections behind Tsarkuyan’s refusal to run for president.
“Now Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarkuyan will face electoral loss,” the expert said, voicing skepticism over Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrossian and Heritage chairman Raffi Hovannissian to win the elections,” he said, adding that Tsarkuyan’s decision determined the outcome of the elections.
