According to 168 Zham daily, the release of the conversation between Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc coordinator Levon Zurabyan and former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian was included in the agenda of the ANC political council meeting.
ANC representatives voiced confidence that the move aimed to harm the bloc due to its being sole rival to the ruling authorities.
“ANC is unaware of the decision the bloc leader Levon Ter-Petrossian will take. He is expected to announce plans on presidency during the congress of Armenian National Movement (ANM), due on Dec 22,” the paper says.
