Head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia Tigran Mukuchyan met with the members of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission.
Welcoming the delegation members, Mr. Mukuchyan stressed the importance of OSCE/ODIHR mission during the forthcoming presidential elections in Armenia. He further briefed on the course of the organization and conduction of the forthcoming polls. The CEC head attached special importance to the trainings designed for the election commission members and the events aiming to raise public awareness.
Heidi Tagliavini, the head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission, in turn, noted that long-term observers are due to arrive in Armenia next week, CEC press service reported.
