The tax bodies of Armenia have fully carried out the tasks of securing receipt in the state budget. As reported by “De Facto” agency, said deputy chairman of the state tax service of Armenia Armen Alaverdian. In his words, the tax revenue made over 6 billion Armenian drams (some $10 million), which exceeds last year similar indicators 15%. Alaverdian also emphasized that from the point of view of tax gathering, the January work of the tax officers gave hope for successful implementation of the rather ambitious programs planned in the budget. As noted by Armen Alaverdian, the high level of tax takings is mainly due to enhancement of fiscal administration efficiency.
