The 4-th sitting of the Armenian-Georgian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation was held in Yerevan today. A number of documents including the intergovernmental agreement on restructing Georgia’s debt to Armenia and Protocol on introducing changes into the agreement on international motor communication were signed within the sitting framework. As Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan stated during the press conference held upon completion of the sitting, a wide range of issues referring to the further development of relations between Armenia and Georgia was considered. In his words, prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields were also discussed. Most of the issues that remained unsettled since the previous sitting have been resolved, the Armenian Prime Minister said. The rest of issues will be settled in a neighborly atmosphere, since the parties have potential and desire for their resolution. “I would like to thank the Georgian Prime Minister for his constructive attitude towards the problems available and the fate of our compatriots living in Samtskhe Javakhetia and other regions of Georgia”, Andranik Maragryan said.
