ARMENIAN TRANSLATOR AWARDED MOST PRESTIGIOUS BULGARIAN ORDER

Bulgarian president has signed a decree on awarding Armenian translator Margaret Terzian with the country’s most prestigious order of “Madar Horseman”. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, the decree says that the translator is honored with the high award for services in popularization of the Bulgarian culture in Armenia. A repatriate from Bulgaria, Margaret Terzian is a member of the Union of Writers of Armenia. In Bulgarian ambassador to Armenia Ivan Ivanchev’s words, the awarding of such an honorable decoration is an original landmark in the development of the cultural ties between the two peoples. The solemn ceremony of handing the award will be held in the Bulgarian embassy in Armenia in March with famous cultural workers of both countries present.
