Georgian state minister Avtandil Jorbenadze has denied assertions that “Eduard Shevardnadze’s closest circles prepare program for his voluntary pre-term leaving the presidential office.” As reported by “Arminfo” agency, in the state minister’s words, such statements aim at disseminating panic and despair among the society. Let us note that earlier a number of Georgian politicians, in particular, former parliament speaker Zurab Zhvania said that Shevardnadze close circles prepare a program for his leaving. The term of office of the acting Georgian leader expires in 2005.
