Former No. 3 player in the world Argentina's David Nalbandian got off to a bad start at Miami-hosted Sony Open, a $4.169 million Masters 1000 event.
Nalbandian took the first set in his match with Jarkko Nieminen, but the veteran Finn rallied for 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 win on the hardcourts at Crandon Park.
Next up for Nalbandian is the Davis Cup quarterfinal against France, in two weeks' time.
