The upcoming Yerevan city council elections will be the most politicized ones, head of Communities Association of Armenia said.
“A party system has been introduced,” Emin Yeritsyan said, adding that the parties pursue mere political goals in the elections
He further noted that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is likely to gain 50% of votes during the upcoming polls, with the Armenian National Congress (ANC) failing to pass the election threshold.
“Hello Yerevan! bloc and Prosperous Armenia will probably be runners-up in the elections, despite the fact that the latter weakened its positions,” he said.
