Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko expressed hope for increased trade turnover with Armenia.
On Monday, May 13, the governments of Armenia and Belarus signed a number of cooperation agreements covering the sectors of agriculture, nuclear energy, sports, as well as protection of national minorities’ rights.
In this context, the Belarusian President expressed confidence that the agreement will promote a double trade turnover growth from current $60 million. As he noted, the goal can be achieved through investing in infrastructure projects.
