Barev Yerevan bloc of parties will become the citizen’s spy in the municipality, bloc member said.
At May 14 press conference Anahit Bakhshyan noted the transparency of city council members’ activity as their priority.
Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Sukias Avetisyan, in turn, welcomed the bloc’s entry to the city council, adding that the opposition would only boost the operation of the institution.
Heritage deputy chairman Armen Martirosyan, party members Anahit Bakhshyan and Stepan Safaryan, non-partisan Gagik Baghdasaryan and Democratic way party member Artur Gasparyan topped the bloc’s list for the city council elections. Mesrop Movsesyan renounced his seat, with Davit Sanasaryan to replace him.
