MOSCOW MAYOR ARRIVING IN YEREVAN

January 30 Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov is arriving in Yerevan. He and his Yerevan counterpart Robert Nazarian will sign a program of cooperation between the executive authorities of the two countries for 2003-2004. Meetings of the Moscow mayor with the Armenian leadership, as well as the military personnel of the 102-nd Russian military base located in Armenia are planned. The Moscow delegation will lay wreaths to the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims in Ottoman Turkey. Moreover, within the framework of the visit Y.Luzhkov will pay a visit to Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University, where he will be conferred RASSU honorary doctor’s degree.
