Armenian Lawyers to Bring a Suit against Deutsche Bank and Dresden Bank

January 13 Armenian lawyers will lay a suit against Deutsche Bank and Dresden Bank, demanding to return the sums belonging to victims of the Armenian Genocide. The suit will note that the German banks constantly refused to return sums invested by Armenians before 1915. Lawyers Mark Geragos, Brian Kabatek and Vardges Yeghiyan, owing to whose efforts New York Life and Axa insurance companies paid heirs of the Genocide victims over $37 million, will also demand that the German banks recompense the sums belonging to Armenians that were appropriated by Turkey during the Genocide. The suit authors urge Armenian Americans to organize a protest action next to the Deutsche Bank Los Angeles office.
