January 22 the Year of Armenia in Russia will open at 6:00 p.m. in the State Kremlin Palace, reported the Yerkramas. A news conference marking the opening of the Year of Armenia in Russia will take place January 19, 2006 at 12:00 a.m. in Moscow. Armenian Ambassador to Armenia Armen Smbatyan, Aide of Armenian President Vigen Sargsyan, head of the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography Mikhail Shvydkoy will take part in the news conference. Armenian and Russian Presidents Robert Kocharian and Vladimir Putin will take part in the opening ceremony of the Year of Armenia in Russia.
