NO SHORTAGE OF ELECTRIC POWER IN ARMENIA

There is no shortage of electric power in Armenia. The press service of the Armenian ministry of energy told “Arka” agency. “Energy generation continues without hindrance in spite of the reduction of Russian gas supplies to the republic due to the wreckage of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia main,” – a ministry representative said. According to the source, the internal resources let meet the energy demand of Armenia. Electric energy is provided by Armenian hydroelectric and thermal power stations and the atomic power plant, and is also supplied from Iran. Commenting on the reports on coming fan energy disconnection in the republic the energy department representative evaluated them “simply as inaccurate data.”
