Armenian parliament grants ministerial powers to govt. staff chief

Armenian National Assembly adopted a package of bills on making amendments to laws on “RA government structure” and “public service”. The motion was adopted by a vote of 68 to 2, with 25 abstentions.

It’s noteworthy that the bills aim to settle the social disputes and boost the effectiveness of the public service. The motion also envisages granting of ministerial powers to the chief of RA government staff.

The package was presented by Justice Minister Hrair Tovmasyan.
