The formation of a free trade zone in the CIS territory is “in fact complete.” As reported by “Arminfo” agency, Russian president Vladimir Putin said. In his words, for Russia, having in view its “somewhat one-sided” energy raw stuff export, a range of goods is of special interest from the angle of budget formation. “We have come to an understanding with practically all CIS countries – on oil and gas we requisition only added value tax,” – Putin said. Bilateral agreements are signed with all states but Ukraine, the president noted. He specified that, according to those agreements, no added value tax would be levied from the supplier within the country territory, but the country to which the gas or oil is being exported would do that. It will increase the mutual commodity flows, the state head said.
