«The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs held talks with each others after Rambouillet and informed OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Belgian Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht on the current situation. We also decided to meet in Washington again, maybe in the first week of March to fully evaluate the outcomes of the Rambouillet talks and decide next steps,» stated US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Steven Mann, reported Voice of American Russian Service. Answering the question on when the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be solved, Mr. Mann said, «Not very soon, however it should be solved. The matter is that conditions of solving the conflict will not improve. We witness the continuing humanitarian catastrophe for a large number of people. There are so many people around Karabakh, who live in uncertainty and fear. It is a weighty reason for uniting the parties and settlement of the situation by joint efforts. I believe the year 2006 is a one for solving that conflict.»
