Turkey’s Bid for EU Discussed in Athens

A discussion titled “Turkey’s policy of denial and prospects of Turkey’s membership in the EU” was held in Athens. As reported by RA MFA press office, the event was initiated by the Athens Hay Dat office. The participants exchanged views on the process of Turkey’s accession to the EU and stressed the necessity of recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Head of the Greece-Armenia parliamentary group Frasis Kuvelious, head of the European Hay Dat office Loran Leylekian, director of Info-turk agency Dogan Ogutek as well as RA Ambassador to Greece Vahram Kajoian took part in the discussions.
