On the invitation of the Armenian government “WFI Consulting” British company inspects the activities of telecommunication monopolist “ArmenTel” company. As reported by “ArmenTel” press service, the terms of auditing are not limited and the process will take as much time as necessary for the WFI to complete its work. At the same time, according to the statement of the leadership of the OTE Greek company, which holds 90% of “ArmenTel” shares, they are holding intensive negotiations to sell the stocks. However, as noted by a representative of the Armenian ministry of justice, in order to set about selling the shares of “ArmenTel” the OTE needs the official permission of the Armenian government, which holds the rest 10% of the shares.
