The issue of supplying a new lot of nuclear fuel to reboot the Armenian Atomic Power Plant is basically solved. Armenian minister of energy Armen Movsisian told journalists. In his words, the negotiations with “United Energy Systems of Russia” company were crowned with success. It is arranged to pay for the new fuel consignment by means of electricity supplies and partially by cash. The minister reported that 102 capacities with nuclear fuel for the sum of $11 million would be delivered to Armenia approximately at the turn of April. The priming of the reactor will admittedly start at the beginning of the summer, when the recurrent prevent repair is held at the station. The reloading of the station will let provide for persistent energy supplies for 300 days.
