Taking into account the fact that the recent incident on the Nagorno Karabakh and Azeri armed forces contact line took place in Aghdam stretch, the next OSCE monitoring will be held there. Personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office Andrzej Kasprzyk told “Turan” agency. In his words, the time for holding the monitoring is being specified at present. The diplomat confirmed the fact of capturing an Azeri soldier in Nagorno Karabakh. He reported that the soldier had been wounded and was taking cure in a military hospital. The OSCE representative did not rule out the opportunity for one of his field assistants to visit the captive in the military hospital. Moreover, efforts are being made directed at his soonest possible return to Azerbaijan, Kasprzyk said. Let us remind that an Azeri diversion and intelligence group violated the NKR defense border in Aghdam stretch January 8 and tried to go deep into the Karabakh territory. As a result of the steps undertaken by the NKR armed forces personnel an Azeri servicemen was wounded and captured. The rest of the saboteurs fled to the contiguous territory.
