Azerbaijan needs a strong army for solving the Nagorno Karabakh problem and Turkey is always ready to assist it in that question. Chief of the intelligence department of the general staff of the Turkish armed forces, general Husein Heksun stated it at the meeting with Azeri defense minister Safar Abiyev in Baku the other day. As reported by “Arminfo” agency referring to Baku media, the general came for “continual strengthening the military cooperation between Ankara and Baku.” In the course of the meeting the parties exchanged views on military and political situation in the South Caucasus.
