On April 13 evening Canal Turk will screen Atom Egoian’s “Ararat” film dedicated to the Armenian Genocide. TV Company representative said the film will be shown uncut. In his words, the decision on film show was taken due to the desire of 72% of the audience.
According to France Press, the government did not bar the screening. At that the agency reminded that in 2004 one of Turkish TV Companies decided to show “Ararat” but later fearing of a wave of protest abandoned the idea, reported RFE/RL.
