Armenian parliament adopted the 2014 state budget, with 70 MPs voting for, 40 against and 1 abstaining.
The draft budget was based on actual GDP growth indices of 5,2%, average inflation rate of 5,5%, 12-month inflation rate of 4,5%, GDP deflator of 4,3%.
In 2014, the consolidated budget income is envisaged at AMD 1 trillion 134 billion 415 million; expenditures of AMD 1 trillion 244 billion 550 million are planned, as well as a deficit of AMD 110 billion 534 million. The planned income was increased by 9,8% against the figure indicated in the 2013 budget. Similarly to previous years, the income will be secured though tax and state duty payments to total 96,25% of the income.
A budget income from taxes and state duties will amount to AMD 1 trillion 93 billion 900 million, up 10% from last year’s figure.
The 2014 economic policy of Armenia will be aimed at provision of macroeconomic stability.
The state budget envisages 6,2%, economic growth, and 4±1,5% inflation for 2013.
