Such large countries of the world as the US and Russia should unite efforts around the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, British ambassador to Azerbaijan Andrew Tucker said in Baku yesterday. Baku press reports, the ambassador reminded of the 4 UN Security Council resolutions on the Karabakh problem. “Although they are of an advisory rather than a compulsory nature, they clearly indicate the steps to be taken,” – he noted. At the same time Andrew Tucker said the conflicting parties should come to agreement themselves. The ambassador cited the instance of relations between England and Ireland, noting that the British party has been trying to find common language with Ireland for already 300 years and to create greater opportunities for achieving a mutually acceptable compromise.
