“Accord” Georgian youths movement has accused leader of “United Democrats” party, ex-speaker of the Georgian parliament Zurab Zhvania in political collusion with Armenian organizations operating in Javakhetia. As reported by “Interpress” agency, chairman of “Accord” Dmitry Omanidze stated it. In his words, the united democrats leader actively cooperates with the leadership of “Virk” and “Javakhk” Armenian organizations operating in Javakhetia (southern region of Georgia populated by Armenians), and promises creation of Armenian autonomy in Georgia in case he wins the coming parliamentary elections. Omanidze accused Zhvania and leader of “National Movement” Mikhail Sahakashvili in unleashing new ethnic conflicts and suggested holding a TV debate. The student organization leader expresses bewilderment with Zhvania’s cooperation with pro-Russian organizations, as “Virk” and “Javakhk” come against withdrawal of Russian military bases from Georgia and the country’s accession to NATO.
