EXPERTS OF TCS PARTICIPANT COUNTRIES DISCUSSED SECURITY ISSUES AND RELATIONS WITH NATO

The meeting of experts on analysis and assessment of the situation within the scope of the Treaty on Collective Security (TCS) with representatives of defense and foreign ministries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan was held in Almati city of Kazakhstan December 20. As reported by the Armenian foreign ministry referring to the secretariat of the Collective Security Council, relations within the UN, OSCE and other international organizations, as well as adjustment of approaches of the TCS participant states to relations with NATO were discussed at the meeting. The sitting participants emphasized the increasing necessity to clarify positions of core issues concerning security and the interests of the TCS participant states.
