ARMENIAN CUSTOM OFFICERS SUPPRESSED LARGE AMOUNT OF MEDICINE AND PSYCHOTROPIC CONTRABAND

Armenian customs officers have revealed 1200 contraband packages of medicines, including psychotropics, for the sum of 3.5 million drams ($6 thousand). As reported by “De Facto” agency, the smugglers have tried to transport most of the medicines on Tbilisi-Yerevan train. The rest of the contraband was revealed at the customs inspection of the cargo arrived from France, as well as a post package sent via Moscow-Yerevan air flight. The officers of the State Customs Department found 12 packages of psychotropics in packages from Germany.
