OTE Greek company has announced the list of companies, which will be offered the possibility to further participate in the tender for 90% of ArmenTel stocks. The list includes Russian companies Vympelcom and MTS as well as ETISALAT (Emirates Telecommunications Corporation /Istithmar ETV -Emergent Telecom Ventures) and VTEL Holdings/Knightsbridge Associates. To note, some 10 companies pretended to ArmenTel including the Armenian holding “SIL Group” that was aspired to receive the majority interest. According to specialists, the price makes $350-450 million. The decision on selling the stocks will be made by the HSBC and OTE.
