Analysts consider the recent undertaking of official Baku on announcing international search for Nagorno Karabakh president Arkadiy Ghukasian as Azeri leadership’s yearning on the eve of presidential elections to most probably use “the Karabakh problem” as the main trump in the electoral race. The article published in the latest issue of “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” Russian newspaper says it. According to the author, the image of a peacemaker is particularly important for the Azeri president on the eve of the meeting of foreign ministers of the OSCE countries opening in Porto Portuguese city, where Armenia and Azerbaijan will have to present a joint approach to the Nagorno Karabakh settlement.
