ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TO LEAVE FOR PORTO TO PARTICIPATE IN OSCE SUMMIT THAT WILL ALSO CONCERN KARABAKH ISSUE

Armenian foreign ministry head Vardan Oskanian will leave for Portugal to participate in the summit of foreign ministers of the OSCE countries December 6-7. A provision on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will also be included in the final resolution to be passed at the summit in the city of Porto. In Vardan Oskanian’s words, as reported by “Arminfo” agency, the content of this provision is not specified by the parties of the conflict yet and the document is at the stage of discussion. “However, I hope for a formula acceptable to both parties to be found,” – he said. The Armenian foreign department head did not rule out the possibility of holding meetings with his Azeri and Turkish counterparts in Porto. Although such meetings are not planned by now, they may take place in case of need, the minister noted.
