Armenia together with Kazakhstan, Albania, Croatia, France and traditionally neutral Switzerland were included in the list of countries searching for ways of accession to NATO. “AP” agency reports it noting that NATO is trying to develop close relations with the former Soviet states located to the north of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, considering the former states as possible allies in struggle against terrorism. It is not casual, “AP” reports, that leaders of over 20 countries not included in the North-Atlantic Alliance were present at the recent NATO summit in Prague.
