UEFA EURO 2008: In Germany Will Be Decided Place of Meeting of Armenian and Azeri Teams

Representatives of Armenian and Azeri Football Federations will meet in Düsseldorf January 25-26 to discuss details of football matches of national teams in the framework of selection stage of the European Championship 2008. The Armenian Football Federation reports that the Armenian side repeatedly has stated it is ready to play with Azeri team in Armenia. But Azerbaijan insists on playing in a neutral country. It is worth mentioning that Azerbaijan and Armenia have occurred in ‘A’ group of selection stage of the European Championship alongside with national teams of Finland, Serbia, Poland, Portugal, Belgium and Kazakhstan.
