No meeting between the OSCE Minsk Group and the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is planned, the U.S. Co-chair James Warlick said according to APA.
“Of course, my French and Russian colleagues and I call for restraint by both sides,” Warlick said.
“We are in constant contact with the Ministers of both countries to stress the importance of negotiations for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.”
It was reported earlier that Mammadyarov is expected to meet with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs in Brussels in mid-May.
Announcing about the upcoming meeting was Mammadyarov himself, as he addressed a press conference following talks with his Maltese counterpart George William Vella in Baku on April 29.
“We are in constant touch with the Co-chairs,” the Minister said.
“Perhaps, the meeting will take place in Brussels,” Mammadyarov said, adding that the exact date and venue will further be announced.
