Armenia removes restrictions on flights from Ukraine

Ukraine's State Aviation Administration and Armenia's General Department of Civil Aviation have agreed on a complete removal of restrictions on air communication between the two countries, the Administration said.

The change concerns the number of designated carriers and the frequency of flights.

Under a 1995 agreement on air services between the two governments, only one airline from each side was authorized to transport passengers, cargo and mail, the frequency of flights also limited to up to three flights per week.

From now on, there are no restrictions on the number of designated carriers, departure/arrival destinations and flights.
