ARMENIAN AND BULGARIAN DEFENSE MINISTER TO CONSIDER MEASURES ON SECURITY STRENGTHENING IN SOUTH-EAST EUROPE AND CAUCASUS

During his official visit to Bulgaria, Armenian defense minister Serge Sarkisian and his Bulgarian counterpart Nikolay Svinarov will discuss the measures on strengthening the security and stability in SouthEast Europe and Caucasus. The minister will also discuss the perspectives of the bilateral military cooperation and the states’ participation in the NATO “Partnership for Peace” program. The 2002-2003 cooperation program between the defense ministries of Armenia and Bulgaria is expected to be signed as a result of visit.
