Armenia's Defense Ministry on Wednesday, August 31 refuted Azerbaijani media reports of alleged ceasefire violations near the border with Nakhijevan as a result of which an Azeri soldier was killed.
According to the Ministry, provocative news stories on websites like Haqqin.az, Politika.az, Meydan.tv are completely false.
“The Armenian armed forces strictly adhere to the ceasefire and take corresponding measures only in the event of violations and shelling by the Azerbaijani side,” the Ministry said in a statement.
