The hearsay about placing an explosive assembly in one of the faculties of Yerevan State University was not confirmed. As the press service of the Armenian ministry of internal affairs told “Arminfo” agency, an alarm was received about placing a blasting assembly at the faculty of economics of the university at 12 a.m. today. Just after the signal all students and professors were evacuated from the building and it was examined by combat engineers. No explosive mechanism was discovered. Let us note that over one thousand students attend lessons in the building.
