One of the members of the spy group, which was operating on the instructions of the Azeri special services and was detained by the ministry of national security of Armenia this August, had participated in preparation of explosion of “Erebuni” hotel in Yerevan in May 1993. The press service of the Armenian ministry of national security told “Mediamax” agency about it. Being prepared with terrorist intentions at the time, the explosion did not take place, as explosion mechanism did not work out.
