If there is a necessity for military operations, Azerbaijan will launch them. According to the information provided by “Arminfo” agency, country president Heydar Aliyev stated it addressing the measures on the 11-th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence. At the same time he noted the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement should be achieved peacefully. Speaking of the calls to solve the problem via military means, which have recently become frequenter in Azerbaijan, Aliyev noted that it would have been perceived positively, if true patriots, who had gone through the war and could fight, had made such calls. Skilled people are necessary for doing all things, the Azeri leader stressed, and if it was necessary to levy a war, it should also be done sensibly, not in the streets and squares under the slogan of “struggle for Karabakh.”
