Today the 3-rd sitting of the Armenian-Egyptian inter-governmental commission opened in Yerevan. As stated co-chair of the commission, minister of trade and economic development of Armenia Karen Chshmaritian, the meeting would become a stimulus for further developing bilateral ties. “We suppose that Armenia and Egypt can develop cooperation in virtually all directions,” – the minister noted. At the same time he emphasized that in spite of the huge amount of work done, the potential of the two countries was used insufficiently. In his turn Egyptian state minister of foreign affairs, co-chair of the commission Faiza Abu al Naga noted that the commission sitting would let activate cooperation within the economic, scientific and engineering, and cultural spheres. In her words, a big potential for activating interaction in the sphere of tourism is also present.
