PROTOCOL ON JOINT GUARDING OF BORDERS BETWEEN RUSSIA AND GEORGIA SIGNED IN YEREVAN

The protocol on joint guarding of borders was signed by director of the Federal border guarding service of Russia, colonel general Constantine Totsky and chairman of the Georgian State Department of frontier guarding, lieutenant general Valery Chkheidze. In Chkheidze’s words, according to the protocol, complex measures are planned to improve the interaction between the border services of the two countries. In particular, the matter concerns exchange of information, creation of posts, joint patrol.
