AZERBAIJAN DISPLEASED WITH AMERICAN AID AMOUNT

“Azerbaijan does not see any difference in the amount of the American aid after the “Freedom Support” act 907 section was repealed. As “Mediamax” agency reports Azeri president Heydar Aliyev stated that at the meeting with the NATO combined forces commander-in-chief, US armed forced commander Joseph Ralsotne. According to Aliyev, as a result of the repeal, Azerbaijan must receive as much aid as Armenia and Georgia. In that connection Ralston noted that determination of the amount of the aid rendered to other countries is a US Congress prerogative.
